Isildur1

Isildur1, the poker playing alter ego of Viktor Blom, began playing online poker when he was just 18 years old. Appearing as Blom90 at the iPoker network in 2008, this Swede appeared out of thin air. He blew in by playing against everyone online in as many tables as he could.

Soon after, he supposedly deposited $2,000 and within a few weeks had turned that amount into over $1.4 million. During that time he rapidly became a legend in the online poker world by crushing the headsup tables. He progressed by using aggressive bankroll management and was soon sitting in the largest headsup tables playing others such as Flexaccou and Odonkooor. Blom has been known to play up to 8 headsup tables simultaneously.

Initially, he attempted to keep his identity a secret, which turned him into quite the mystery man of poker. Eventually, his true identity was revealed and his big winning run came to an end. Even so, Blom has continued to do well in poker. Not only was he successful online but he was nominated by the 2008 Scandinavian Poker Awards as Rookie of the Year.

After the excitement died down, Blom90 seemed to have laid low for a bit, or so it was believed until another new, young Swede with an air of mystery appeared in the online poker community. His name is Isildur1 and has been confirmed that he is Viktor Blom. Isildur1 debuted online during October 2009 playing at the Full Tilt Poker tables. He started out there by entering the nosebleed stakes. Reports stated that Isildur1 had won $4,262,458 in November 2009. He plays confidently and without fear and takes on the top professionals either one on one or all of them at once.
