The Durr Challenge

Tom “durrr” Dwan is the 22 year old history making poker professional. He can be found anywhere there’s a good poker tournament going on. Most recently, he came up with the Million Dollar Challenge. This is open to anyone in the poker playing community with the exception of Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galford. Opponents are required to play Dwan for 50,000 hands of $200 - $400 or more on 4 tables simultaneously. Should either one fall below 75 big blinds in their stack at any time, they have to reload.

At the end of the No Limit Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha hands, a winner is chosen. If Dwan leads by $1 or more, his opponent has to pay him $500,000. If his opponent leads by $1 or more, Dwan hands over $1.5 million. The winner also gets to keep the winnings of the 50,000 hands.

Hosting this Challenge is the Full Tilt poker site where Dwan’s first opponent is Patrik Antonius. His other 2 opponents will be Phil Ivey, and David Benyamine. Antonius and Ivey are both members of Team Full Tilt.

With all the experience that Dwan has gathered in his short playing career, it will be hard to bet against him. However, you should not count out either of his worthy opponents just yet. Keep up with the progress of this exciting challenge.
